ORIGIN STORY

MPAC was founded by Dr. Johnnie Green, along with several pastors, to advocate for churches and communities in Harlem, particularly as gentrification threatened church properties and developers exploited congregations lacking strong legal support.

Dr. Johnnie M. Green, Jr.

Dr. Johnnie M. Green, Jr. serves as Senior Pastor of Mount Neboh Baptist Church in Harlem, NY, and is the President & CEO of MPAC-NY. He is also the Owner, President & CEO of Agape Children’s Academy of NJ, Equity Partner and Senior Vice President of Arc Public Benefit Corporation, and Chairman of the Ministers Division of the Empire Baptist State Convention.
