MPAC Founding Four

Founding Four

MPAC was born from the vision and courage of four pastors who came together to defend Harlem’s churches and communities during a time of crisis. Known as the Founding Four, these leaders united their voices to stand against gentrification, protect congregations from exploitation, and ensure that the church remained a powerful force for justice. Their legacy continues today as MPAC grows and mobilizes clergy, professionals, and community members to carry forward the fight for equality and opportunity.
